These terms apply to every purchase from overboostpro.com. "We" and "us" mean Overboost Pro, an Australian business. "You" means the buyer.
1. The product
Overboost Pro is a digital gauge that reads data from your car's OBD port and shows it on a screen. It is sold for track and off-road use only. Please read our Safety notice before use.
2. Compatibility
Overboost Pro currently works only with the Audi A3, S3 and RS3 (8V generation, approx. 2013–2020; RS3 from 2015), as listed on the product page. You must check your car before you buy. We do not refund purchases made for an incompatible car, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.
3. Orders and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars. Payment is taken in full when you order. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if the product is out of stock or a price was shown in error.
4. Pre-orders
Delivery dates for pre-orders are estimates. If we expect a delay of more than 30 days, we will email you, and you can choose to cancel for a full refund.
5. Ownership of the device
When you have paid in full and the device is delivered, the device is yours.
6. Software licence and copyright
The software on the device (firmware), its design, screens, graphics and mascot are owned by Overboost Pro and are protected by copyright. They are not sold to you. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software only on the Overboost Pro device you bought. If you sell or give away the device, the licence goes with it.
You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- copy, read out, extract or duplicate the software;
- modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer it;
- install it on any other hardware;
- make, sell or distribute products that copy the Overboost Pro software, screens or design.
Any attempt to read, modify or replace the software voids our voluntary warranty. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
7. Updates
We may release software updates. Updates are free but not guaranteed, and we may stop supporting older versions. Updates are only for genuine Overboost Pro devices.
8. Your car
Overboost Pro reads data only. It does not change your car's settings. You install and use it at your own risk. We are not responsible for any disagreement with your car's manufacturer or dealer about devices connected to the OBD port.
9. Limits of our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for: fines, penalties or loss of licence; damage caused by incorrect installation or by use while driving on public roads; or indirect loss such as lost time or profits.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you ordered applies to your order.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
